Richard Bianchini, 31, Ivy Court, Quakertown, was arrested on Saturday, May 12 at about 8:34 a.m. after he allegedly held a woman in a room at the motel and refused to let her leave, Doylestown Borough police said Thursday.
The victim reported that Bianchini pointed a handgun at her, they said; he also had a shotgun, according to police.
Charges include possessing an instrument of crime, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, assault, and possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Bianchini was arraigned before District Justice Mark Douple and remanded to Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10 percent of $1 million bail.
For years, the motel was the Courthouse Inn. It recently converted to a Days Inn.
The Days Inn also was the scene of a recent prostitution arrest.

Police in Camden arrested 22 women on charges of prostitution and related offenses during a sweep last week, authorities said Monday.
The crackdown, dubbed Operation Corridor Sweep, was conducted Friday along the Broadway corridor from Martin Luther King Boulevard to Morgan Boulevard, according to Camden Mayor Dana L. Redd and Police Chief Scott Thomson. Most arrested hailed from towns outside the city, including Cherry Hill, West Deptford and Mount Holly, authorities said.
The women, ranging in age from 20 to 47, were referred to social service agencies for counseling, addiction treatment and other services, authorities said. — Darran Simon

According to Chief Richard Brady, Gronosky and Williams were charged with the armed robbery of the Carousel Lounge strip club and burglarizing the home of a state trooper in Laflin, Luzerne County.
They got away with about $3,500 in the strip club robbery, according to The Times-Leader newspaper.
On April 15, at 3:06 a.m., Officer Wagner was on routine patrol and observed a vehicle travling north on Route 309 near North Wales Road with the driver side window smashed out.
“A registration check revealed the vehicle was a felony vehicle and the occupants armed,” Brady told supervisors. “Further information revealed that the occupants were wanted for armed robbery and shooting at police.”

“These two individuals were wanted on March 15 for a robbery at Carousel Lounge strip club in Plymouth Township, Luzerne County. It involved a subject utilizing air pistols and they robbed an 81-year-old woman,” Brady said.

PHILADELPHIA — A Philadelphia woman dubbed “the Black Madam” used silicone from Thailand and Krazy Glue to perform at-home cosmetic surgery that left an exotic dancer with a plump derriere — and potentially deadly complications, the dancer testified Wednesday.
Padge Windslowe charged $1,000 to perform injections on a dining room table at “pumping parties,” 23-year-old Shurkia King testified. But King suffered severe respiratory problems afterward and spent two weeks in the hospital. A doctor testified that he found silicone particles on her lungs that could have killed her.
A judge Wednesday order Windslowe, 42, to stand trial on charges that include aggravated assault, practicing medicine without a license and theft by deception.
Police believe Windslowe also injected 20-year-old London tourist Claudia Aderotimi, who died last year after a pumping party at a Philadelphia airport hotel. Aderotimi complained of chest pain and difficulty breathing following the procedure. No charges have been filed in that case as detectives await extensive autopsy test results.
