I would like to submit a few ideas that I have heard and a few that I have myself that could be used to mold that lump of clay the governor has thrown on the table.
Bader Field:  This area should be dedicated to family entertainment and disassociated from casino gaming at all cost. It’s nice to have the family entertainment, but if your idea is to drop your kids off unattended for a whole day while you gamble, it has always and will always be a bad idea.
The Casino Association should be more forward thinking and realize these families that have small children now will eventually be empty nesters and thus will become future customers. If they have an enjoyable experience when they are in Atlantic City for family entertainment, they are sure to come back later for adult entertainment.

On that, McNabb is optimistic. He thinks — hopes? — the notoriously raucous Philadelphia fans will applaud him for his years of service, his six Pro Bowls, his franchise records for passing yards, completions and touchdown passes.
Not all of his Redskins teammates share that rosy outlook.
“Knowing them, they’ll probably boo him,” center Casey Rabach said. “They boo everybody up there. They booed him when he was winning games for them.”
Sure enough, there’s a warm Philly welcome in the works. Angelo Cataldi, a talk-show personality and the leader of the so-called “Dirty 30″ — the 30 hardcore Eagles fans who led the boos at Madison Square Garden when the Eagles drafted the Syracuse star over Texas running back Ricky Williams — has organized a “Boo McNabb” parade featuring sign-carrying boo birds, a juggler, some strippers, and a guy on stilts. It remains to be seen if any of them will actually make it to Lincoln Financial Field for the game.

Episode 2: Dennis Gets Divorced, is the inevitable consequence of the premiere episode where Dennis marries his high school poop-breath, I mean sweetheart, Maureen Ponderosa and ousts Mac out of their apartment. Dennis, as the episode’s title implies, ends up divorcing Maureen. The chaos then spreads like a cat-littered contagion to disrupt even the seemingly rock-solid domestic partnership between Charlie and Frank. The gag reflex-inducing affair between Dee and Maureen’s brother, Bill, at the end of the premiere, also ends up wrecking the elder Ponderosa’s marriage.
It is nothing new for the Sunny crew’s best laid schemes to backfire like last night’s baked beans, but the grim outlook the events of this episode leave for any of them finding love makes us viewers feel better about our own relationship problems (whether betrothed or not) . Not even an impromptu trip to a strip club (because Dennis demands a bachelor party, post-wedding), can cure the gang’s loveless ills. While arguing over how much money one needs to dispense in order to “make it rain”, finances come between Frank and Charlie, perhaps frustrated that Frank is the sole breadwinner of their marriage.

It’s a damn shame, too. Wouldn’t it be great if a House of Blues or something were right by the casino? You could go see a concert and then go gamble afterward. Surely there are all types of restaurant chains that would love to open new franchises right by a bustling casino, so popular in its infancy that traffic is jammed all the way up through Port Richmond and Bridesburg.
Get rid of the ridiculous taxes businesses have to pay so new businesses can come here, thrive from a booming casino that isn’t going to go away since people want to gamble more in a recession and they can also – get this – hire people and stimulate the job market. It’s going to be laughable 2, 3 years from now when the Sugarhouse has been reverted to what the City thinks of strip clubs: no surrounding businesses and no actual gain of any kind besides the money that lines politicians’ pockets.

Investigators believe an alleged cat hoarder, in custody for allegedly threatening an animal control investigator at gunpoint earlier this month, is responsible for stashing the felines in the freezer.
Denise Ann Merget, 58, of the first block of Leighton Terrace, Upper Darby, was taken into custody Sept. 10 at her house when state, county and local animal control officers and health department officers removed 59 cats from her residence and declared the property unfit for human and animal habitation.
This week, the township health department was tipped off by Merget’s neighbor, who reported suspicions of dead cats stored in Merget’s mother’s house on the 2200 block of Ardmore Avenue, Drexel Hill.
The house is directly across the street from an alleged brothel where an alleged prostitute and her alleged madam were arrested earlier this week.

While Mac showers at the bar’s sink, Dee comes in and starts bragging about her new car, courtesy of her latest abused boyfriend Bill Ponderosa. The fact that Bill is married with two kids is lost on Dee, but the rest of the gang decides this makes her a slut. Dee dismisses the charge as she isn’t the one with the vows, and Charlie and Frank are confronted with their own marriage mishaps. Dennis requests a bachelor party and the gang heads down to a local strip club to “make it rain.” Uhhh, when did these dudes get money? Strip club leads to a drunken night, and Mac and Dennis fall into their standard routine of shenanigans back at the apartment and were quickly interrupted by its new inhabitant – Maureen. The newlyweds begin to fight until Dennis calls her annoying and strange and declares he wants a divorce. And in perfect Sunny style, Maureen asks the guys to vacate the place and when they won’t she gets all Mark Wahlberg from Fear and beats herself up. Oh the joy that I get when that piece of cinematic genius is referenced.

… SPOILER ALERT)
The second episode was kind of a Part 2 to the events in the opener. Dennis had rashly married Maureen Ponderosa and kicked Mac out of his apartment. Dee, who defended the sanctity of marriage, had an affair with her brother and ended up wrecking his marriage. Charlie and Frank got a domestic partnership so that Charlie could get some health insurance.
Needless to say, all three schemes backfire and everyone wants a divorce. Despite the usual chaos, the episode was a bit indecisive. For instance, a trip to a strip club (because Dennis demands a bachelor party) has Charlie asking Frank for money. At first Frank offers him a ten, but then Charlie refuses the money, as he is just frustrated about their marriage for no apparent reason.

Back at Paddy’s, where Mac has taken up residence after getting thrown out of Dennis’ apartment, Frank and Charlie are going over their own marriage, namely what Charlie brings to the table, which is, as Frank puts it, “diddly-squat.” Makes sense. And Sweet Dee’s reeling from her new car, purchased by her current infatuated conquest, Dennis’ brother-in-law, Bill Ponderosa.
All the talk of marriage and Dee being a whore (did I mention that Bill Ponderosa’s married?) makes Dennis realize that he never got a bachelor party, so he, Mac, Frank, and Charlie head to the nearest strip club. After a brief discussion over how much money it takes to “make it rain” and some haggling over a couple’s discount, it’s pretty clear that both marriages are heading down the tubes.
